planning your visit - How to find us

Mill Creek Baptist Church is located at 1182 Jones Street, Radcliff KY 40160. (Your GPS or maps program will get you here easily!) From 31W/Dixie Highway, you'll turn onto Southland near Jack Hart's Auto Body shop and across the street from the Radcliff Roller Rink. After about half a mile, Southland becomes Jones Street and there's a sign indicating that Mill Creek is half a mile further. The church will be on your right, just before Jones Street becomes Falling Spring!

PARKING

This is what you'll see as you approach our church! Our parking lot is in two levels; if you're visiting for morning worship, you'll want to park on the upper level and enter through the doors under the steeple. Our office buildings are in the left of the photo, and our fellowship halls and many classrooms are found on the right of the photo, nearer the lower level parking.

what should i wear?

Clothes. Seriously, we want you to be comfortable with us as you worship our Lord in spirit and in truth. In a typical Mill Creek service, you are apt to see people in suits and fancy dresses, in biker leathers, in jeans and flip-flops, in military uniforms, or in clothing representing their ethnic background. You don't need special clothing to be a part of Mill Creek, so please don't let anxiety about your clothing keep you from visiting. (As for masks: Although we do not require masks, some choose to wear them and some do not.)

what about kids?

Our clean, spacious nursery is staffed with experienced, background-checked workers who will take care of your children from infancy to age three, if you desire. (Many parents choose to keep their children with them in service, and that is always permitted.) Once your children are age three and potty-trained, they are welcome to attend J.A.M.  (Jesus And Me) Sessions, which includes children up through fifth grade. Again, there is no requirement that children attend Children's Church if you would rather they attend worship with you. Nursery and Children's Church are available during morning worship.

what should i expect?

If you visit Mill Creek for Sunday School (we have a Combined Adult Sunday School class and a Ladies' Bible Study class at 10:00am), come in through the main (upper level) entrance. A greeter or usher will see that you find the classroom. We will add classes as we bounce back following the shutdowns and other aspects of the pandemic.

Morning Worship begins at 10:45am. A greeter or usher can answer any questions you may have before entering the sanctuary. Visitor cards are not in the pew racks; if you desire to leave a record of your visit, please ask an Usher for a card. We pray, sing several songs, and receive an offering prior to our pastor's message (Offerings may be left in the "church bank" in the lobby or put in the offering container when the ushers collect it.) At the end of the service, there is an invitation to those who want to make any sort of decision for Christ: salvation, church membership, or just prayer with someone about an issue of importance to them. On the first Sunday of each month, we share in the Lord's Supper at the close of the service. The Lord's Supper is open to all believers who find themselves at Mill Creek on that day.

At our Wednesday Midweek Service you will find that the crowd is smaller but, hopefully, no less friendly. Please sit closer to the front! We sing songs from the hymnal and our pastor preaches on his current series.
